Saw this sign today and was curious as to if anyone else thought the same as me when I saw this? I think it would be interesting to hear others thoughts before I shared my own. I def. related it a lot to class readings and am interested how others would relate without my prior influence. Thanks to anyone who participates and reads t his!!
Thats so weird, because i just did an extra blog post and i used a pedestrian crossing sign as an example of enforcing gender roles. Great minds think alike. :-)
ReplyDeletewow good point guys. I feel that this sign, along with the gender roles, this sign is a bit racist. why couldnt there be a group of kids of various races? its not like these two kids are the only ones that cross the street...
